Just something important to remember is that I am a pretty reasonable guy. I know Superman is a big fish and generally set how heavy he's being to the scene; I am not going to bring the same amount of force against a single supervillain that I am against a team, or against a cosmic threat like Starro, Darkseid, or similar horrors. Superman should be able to have a fun scene against a group of gangsters and against a evil space bacteria that mostly exists on the conceptual level, he's a massively flexible character.
